How to: Include a QR code in a survey email

Introduction

QR codes can be used to share survey links to be used by respondents. Common uses of these codes include printed media (such as posters or leaflets) and digital media such as presentation slides or digital signage.

QR codes are most commonly shared directly from a survey tile or by using the survey “creation email” within a template that uses a creation wizard. Once the wizard process is completed, the survey is created and the survey “creation email” will be sent to the desired address.

Steps to sharing a QR code from a survey tile

  1. Select the [Share] button on the desired survey.
  2. Select [Copy QR code to clipboard].
  3. Paste the image to your chosen medium.

Steps to including a survey QR code in an email

  1. Navigate to the “emails” tab within the editor of your desired template and find the desired email to include the QR code in. As mentioned above, QR codes are most commonly shared using the survey “creation email”.
  2. Input the following substitution into the message: }
  3. Complete the “to” field by selecting the appropriate question from the template. Input an appropriate “subject” line.
  4. When finished, select [Save] to save your changes.
